This online software allows: 
- to save all your birthday
      wishes.
- find them easily.
- to design and print a nice calendar
   with the photos (vignettes) in the boxes
    corresponding to the birthdays.

Some applications store all anniversary dates, along with the names and emails of the people involved, on a web server. With calendar.calagenda.global, your data is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone, thus preserving your personal privacy and, when it comes to your friends' birthdays, your friends' privacy.   

Save the birthdays to wish in the diary.

• Display the calendar corresponding to the day for which you wish to register a birthday. To display the annual calendar, choose it with the menu at the top left (Direct access, Annual...).
• Make a simple click on the day corresponding to the birthday to wish.
• The dialog box that is displayed allows on the one hand to view the events existing on this date, on the other hand to add, modify, and delete an anniversary.
  - To add or modify an event, enter or modify your text, ie the surname and first name of the person concerned, possibly followed by the year of birth, and click on 'Save' .
  Tip: if you want part of the text entered not to be visible when the calendar is displayed, frame this text with "{" and "}", or with "<" and ">": example: {born in 1950}. This information will also be hidden in the tooltip, and will only be visible in the input box.
  - You can save multiple birthdays for the same day.
  - To delete an event, erase the text, and click on 'Save' .
• Place a personal photo, in each box of the calendar, for birthdays.
  Display a color, photo or image for a specific day
• If you wish to make several modifications to the same month, for several dates, you can move the dialog box with the mouse by clicking on its title. The box will then be anchored. To make the box float again, click on the red cross.
• Note that you can move the calendars by clicking on the title (the month in the monthly calendar, the week number in the weekly calendar), to facilitate entry.

Display birthdays in calendars.

• If you choose this application as the start page of your browser, you will not forget the birthdays to wish. 
• Note that birthdays automatically carry forward each year, including text and photos. You can replace the photo if you wish.
• For calendars: in the 'Data' tab , the 'Birthdays' drop-down list offers several display choices:
  • 'Appearance of the box' to display only graphic information (colour, pictogram or pattern) in the cells for which a birthday has been recorded. If you choose a pictogram, you can specify its size and position in the box. By default, the pictogram is displayed.
  • 'Show text' to display the detail, ie the first and last name of the people you have entered, on one or more additional lines.
    You can assign a specific color to the birthday data text.
  • For calendars in columns: 'Compact text' for a display on a single line, at the location of the saints, so as not to increase the height of the calendar, to allow for example printing on a single page (the data will possibly be truncated).
    Where saints are displayed, the saint will be replaced by the birthday, in bold.
    You can assign a color, a pattern or a pictogram to the box.
  • 'No display' to not display the birthdays to wish in the calendar.
  • By default, text alignment is based on the "Alignment" drop-down list in the "Boxes" tab: it is often aligned to the left, in most calendar models, and you can choose: Left, Centered, Right , in table calendars, and in addition, Justified, in column calendars.
    If you want a different alignment, only for birthdays, for example on the left, add the following line in the "Style sheet" input box of the "Calendar" tab:
    .day_birthday {text-align:left;}
    ( the . at the beginning of the line is part of the area to be copied!)
  • By default, the size of the characters is equal to the size of the other elements of the boxes: if you want a smaller font, for example 80% of the size of the other elements, you can do it by adding the following line in the box "Style sheet" input from the "Calendar" tab:
    .jour_anni {font-size:80%;}
    (the dot at the beginning of the line is part of the copy area!)
  
  Note that these choices are specific to each calendar model , i.e. you can for example choose to display birthdays, with photos, in monthly calendars, a pictogram in quarterly calendars, and choose not to display birthdays in annual calendars. The size of the icon and its position in the box are also specific to each calendar model: choose a larger size for monthly calendars, and smaller for annual calendars, and a different position for table calendars and those in column. The default values, for each model, are already adjusted to the best, but you will be able to modify them, in particular if you modify the size of the boxes.
• If you choose to display photos accompanying birthdays (Internet Explorer only) :
  • If the photos are not displayed, check your browser settings .
  • to avoid overloading the presentation of the calendar, you can disable the display of diary entries, holidays, desired holidays, school holidays, in the 'Data' tab.
  • Tip: if you want to keep the display of feast days (saints), except for the days when a birthday photo is present, change the name of the saint with the input box of the day's agenda. 
• To save changes to the calendar design , use the floppy disk ( ).

Find the date of a birthday, display all the birthdays of a family, or for a given month, etc.

• Click on 'Search' , in the 'Data' tab, or choose 'Direct access', 'Agenda', 'Search' in the menu at the top left.
• The search form offers multiple possibilities. You can restrict the search to a period, an event (for example, only birthdays), or with a filter made up of one or more keywords, for example:
  - To display birthdays for the month of January, enter 'January' in the filter.
  - To display birthdays from January to March, enter 'January or February or March' in the filter. 
  - To find the anniversary dates of Oriane and Ambrine, enter 'Oriane or Ambrine' in the filter.
  You can format the search result for possible printing.

Save your birthday wishes.

• All your personal data, including your birthdays, is stored in real time on your computer, tablet or smartphone. This method preserves your privacy.
• In return, you must perform a backup periodically, for example every month. The procedure is very simple: choose 'Direct access', 'Agenda', 'Export'... You can save the file obtained on your hard drive, on a USB key, or in the cloud.

• The export will also be useful if you want to view birthdays on several computers, on your tablet, or your smartphone. The form allows for example a partial export, over a given period or a given event (diary, birthdays, holidays to wish), for a possible exchange with your collaborators or your family.
